Crisis Counselling Service
Our crisis counselling service is a self-funded initiative, not supported by government or charitable organisations. As such, it may not be feasible for therapists—who must also manage their private practices and livelihoods—to offer these sessions free of charge. However, many of our practitioners are committed to providing support at a significantly reduced fee.
To ensure accessibility while covering basic operational costs, we offer crisis counselling sessions at $50 per session, one of the most affordable rates available in Australia for privately run services. If you are in a position to contribute more, you are welcome to support this initiative by paying the standard counselling fee of $150, helping us continue to offer subsidised care to those in need.
Sessions are delivered exclusively via telephone or Zoom, and each session runs for 40 minutes. The call will conclude at the end of the scheduled time to allow our team to support as many individuals as possible. We sincerely appreciate your empathy, understanding, and support.

Please Note:
This service is intended for short-term crisis support only. Clients may be eligible for up to 5 crisis counselling sessions per year at the reduced rate of $50 per session. This model is not suitable for long-term or regular therapeutic support. For further details, please contact us.
Book Your Session
How It Works:
You can book a crisis counselling session using one of the following methods:
Option 1 – Book Online (Recommended)
Use the appointment calendar below to choose a time for your session. After booking, we’ll send payment instructions. Your appointment will be confirmed once payment is received.
After payment is confirmed:

Your session will be officially booked and you’ll receive instructions to attend (e.g., Zoom link or phone number)

Your therapist will contact you at the scheduled time

Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy comes into effect once you agree to the service or payment has been made. Please ensure your decision is informed before booking. If unsure, feel free to contact us via the enquiry form or at contact@mithrah.com.
Refund Policy

A full refund will be issued if your session cannot be delivered at the agreed time due to a therapist-related issue.

Please allow up to 5 business days for refund processing.

If you do not receive your refund after approval, contact us immediately.

Refunds are not available for last-minute cancellations or no-shows. Therapist time is reserved specifically for you, and short-notice cancellations may limit availability for others in need.

In valid or exceptional cases, rescheduling or a refund may be considered — provided your therapist agrees. Please note that multiple therapists may be offering crisis sessions on behalf of Mithrah, and cancellation matters are handled between the client and the assigned therapist, with Mithrah available to facilitate the process.
