PLAN SMALL

Provides 25 counselling hours over 12 months at $60 per hour ($1,500 +GST). Recommended for up to 100 staff.

PLAN Medium

  • Includes 100 counselling hours over 12 months at $50 per hour ($5,000 +GST). Recommended for 100 – 250 staff.

PLAN Large

Provides 250 counselling hours over 12 months at $40 per hour ($10,000 +GST). Recommended for over 250 staff.

WHAT IS AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
An EAP, or Employee Assistance Program, is a counselling service provided by employers to their staff to support their emotional and psychological well-being both at work and in their personal lives. An EAP aims to help workplaces take a proactive, preventative approach to mental health and foster a culture of care.

EAP  offers professional support to help workers experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety or depression to stay at or return to work, benefiting both the worker and the business.

WHY SHOULD AN EMPLOYER CHOOSE EAP 
When choosing an Employee Assistance Program, employers consider service quality and cost.

In terms of service quality, EAP provides a comprehensive model with on-demand telehealth counselling from experienced, qualified counsellors.

Regarding costs, EAP charges a significantly lower hourly rate of $40 to $60, compared to other providers who typically charge between $200 and $300 per hour for similar services. Additionally, EAP does not impose registration, management, or any other service fees.

EAP maintains cost-efficiency through an efficient business model and ethical profit margins, ensuring that all employees have access to EAP services as part of its mission statement.

HOW DOES EAP WORK

  1. The employer selects the plan that best suits their company’s needs
  2. The contract will be signed between the employer and MITHRAH
  3. All payments must be made in advance and no refund will be made once the service started
  4. Mithrah provides the company with information to access the EAP services
  5. Employees contact their dedicated EAP counsellor using a Booking Form.
  6. The counsellor engages by discussing the challenging issues and offering immediate confidential support and advice.
  7. The client may get a referral to other services if needed

Getting Started 
To connect with EAP services, please complete the initial intake form. Once we receive your form, a therapist from EAP Services will contact you to discuss your support needs.

Mode of Service

Sessions can be arranged via telephone counselling or video counselling. Face-to-face sessions can be arranged only at the Parramatta location. An extra $20 is charged for each session for face-to-face booking due to the cost of the hired venue. $10 will be charged extra for each session for bulk booking sessions that exceed 100 sessions.  

Before Your Appointment 
For your first appointment, please allow time for filling out any necessary forms or questionnaires as required by your counsellor. 

Initial Assessment
During your first session, you will discuss your concerns with your counsellor. They will assess your mental health needs and work collaboratively with you to determine the best path forward. Based on their assessment, they may provide recommendations or suggest scheduling further sessions.

Cancellations
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request that you provide us with as much notice as 24 hours possible.

We request you to provide us with enough time to notify us of any changes. In-person appointments can also be switched to telehealth if necessary on the day with sufficient notice.

Failure to attend an appointment without notifying us will be considered one of the appointments available to you per calendar year or contract. This policy ensures fair access to appointment times for all our clients, and therapists who dedicate their time to the service. In exceptional cases, you may discuss this with your therapist.
