Crisis Counselling

• You can have Telehealth counselling sessions booked anytime including late evenings. We will try our best to work around your timings. 

• Crisis counselling sessions are provided only via telephone or Zoom.

• No referrals are needed from GP as the service is capped at a $50 standard rate. Appointments can be booked within 3 business days. 

• Email us at contact@mithrah.com with your preferred dates and time frames when booking a crisis counselling session.

• If you or someone you know is in crisis and needs help immediately, do not delay and call triple zero (000) at once.

Book A Session

• Crisis counselling sessions are not covered under Medicare or other rebates.

• We will endeavour to provide service within 3 business days. You can choose to attend the sessions through telephone, Zoom or at our clinic at the scheduled time

• Our crisis counselling sessions are generally 40 minutes long. You may book an extended session of up to 1.5 hours with us which will cost a gap payment of $75. Please make payment accordingly.

• No refund will be provided when you cancel a session within 48 hours. Compensatory sessions may be arranged in some cases when the therapist agrees. More information will be available when you book a session with us. 

Support us

• Our crisis counselling service is a self-funding program, which means our service is not funded by any government or charity organisations to keep it free. 

• The regular psychological counselling fees start at $120 per session. However, we have set a reasonable service fee of $50 per session for crisis counselling to cover our admin costs.

• Crisis Counselling sessions can be provided pro bono for eligible clients if you are referred by any community service organisations we collaborate with.
